The River Valley Green Residences has recently been awarded to Cover Projects, a renowned local hospitality management company, by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA). The state-owned property, located at 26 Evans Road, will be refurbished and repurposed for various uses, such as serviced apartments, students’ hostels, offices or F&B establishments.

The tender for this project was launched on August 16th of last year and was encouraged to incorporate co-living concepts. It will be leased for a period of 5+4 years. A total of 25 bids ranging from $63,000 to $319,000 a month were received by the closing date on October 12th. The highest bid of $319,000 was submitted by local construction company Samwoh Corp.

Other notable bidders include established co-living operators LHN Group and The Assembly Place, with bids of $165,000 and $168,000 respectively. The successful bid was evaluated based on price and quality, with Cover Projects ultimately being awarded the tender despite submitting the second-highest bid of $265,000 a month.
