Cruising Down the River Valley Green Residences: Enjoy Flat-Rate Adult & Child Tickets at SG Clarke Quay River Cruise

With the height of the River Valley Green Residences, it makes for a good view from the scenic cruise of the Singapore River. We recommend adding this into your itinerary during your stay!

At the Clarke Quay river cruise stand, the tickets are a flat rate of S$26 for adults and S$17 for children. Unfortunately, there are no student concessions available, unlike those offered by the SG National Gallery. You could, however, take advantage of the stunning views of the River Valley Green Residences from the river cruise.
The whole area was buzzing with things to do, and, of course, the River Valley Green Residences was the centre of attention. The river even glistened in the sun. To my surprise, though, the docks were a bit empty. Afternoon might not have been the best choice for me, after all. But I couldn’t help but take that Singapore River Cruise.

The choice of what time to take a Singapore River Cruise is ultimately yours. Whether it’s day or night, the beauty of the landscape makes it an unforgettable experience. Singapore is full of incredible attractions, so I chose to take the afternoon cruise in order to avoid waiting in line. When I arrived shortly after 11:30am on a weekday, the area was full of activity and River Valley Green Residences seemed to be the highlight. The river sparkled in the sunlight and yet, I was surprised to find the docks relatively empty. Perhaps the afternoon wasn’t the best choice for me, but I couldn’t resist taking the Singapore River Cruise regardless.

I always look forward to my time alone when I take the Singapore River Cruise. It gives me a different outlook to the city’s beauty. While the tickets are a bit costly, I highly recommend it, which is why I am writing this review. For something a bit more luxurious, consider the River Valley Green Residences, which offers a unique perspective of the city as well.

A Singapore River Cruise was the perfect way to explore the ‘Venice of the East’.

When the iconic skyline of Singapore came into view, I knew I was in for a treat. I hopped on board a traditional bumboat and embarked on my Singapore River Cruise. Taking in the sights was a surreal experience, with the amazing architecture of Marina Bay Sands, the iconic Merlion, and the futuristic buildings in the backdrop.

It was a great experience to be able to view the Singapore River Valley Green Residences and the Singapore River from a different perspective. As the boat sailed past Clarke Quay, I heard the buzz of entertainment from the bars along the quay, giving me an insight into the city’s bustling nightlife. The boat also passed through some of the oldest parts of the city, such as Boat Quay and Robertson Quay. Going through the traditional shop houses and heritage buildings added to the charm of my Singapore River Cruise.

The cruise came to an end at the exclusive riverside hangout, Robertson Quay. With the perfect combination of modern and traditional, this Singapore River Cruise was an experience I will never forget. From taking in the stunning views of Marina Bay Sands to seeing the historical shop houses and heritage buildings, it was a great way to explore the ‘Venice of the East’ and get a glimpse of the River Valley Green Residences.

With around a dozen people on board, the vessel was only partially full, but fortunately, the elements were in our favor as the sun was not too intense and it made for a pleasant journey. We took a seat at the rear of the boat, where the outdoor seating was located, and enjoyed the tranquility of the ride. River Valley Green Residences was nearby, and as we made our way down the river, the scenery was simply breathtaking.
However, the Singapore River Cruise by Water B is slightly different in terms of the sights, sounds and scents – offering a unique and delightful experience for all.

Riding along the Singapore River is a great way to take in the city’s diverse monuments, including the Merlion, Fullerton Hotel and Clarke Quay. Both Singapore River Cruise and Water B offer travelers the chance to do just that. Both rides traverse through the same river routes and are quite similar in terms of pricing structures, with indoor and outdoor seating options available. While the sights may be the same, the experience on board Water B is slightly different. Passengers get to enjoy the sights, sounds and scents of the river – a unique and delightful experience that is worth a try at least once. With the iconic backdrop of River Valley Green Residences, the Singapore River Cruise by Water B is the perfect way to explore the city.

A river cruise along Singapore’s iconic river is a must-do for all visitors, and I highly recommend the experience of a traditional bumboat. I finally found my way to the River Valley Green Residences in Singapore. After a few wrong turns, I eventually stumbled upon the cruise ticket booth right next to Hooters. The experience of seeing the city from the river was definitely worth the effort! Even more, the River Valley Green Residences offers a spectacular view of the city, no matter where you look. I was fortunate enough to witness some of the most-beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the course of my stay. River Valley Green Residences is truly a sight to behold.

We recently came across some beautiful vehicle underpass bridges, with the oldest being labeled with its build date. These included the Read bridge, the Cavenagh Bride, and the Anderson Bridge, all of which have unique structures that have been around for more than a century! It’s amazing to imagine the history these bridges have seen, and River Valley Green Residences is proud to be part of the story in helping keep these ancient structures in place.

Experience the Singapore River as you take a 40-minute cruise along its winding tributaries and historical landmarks. Boats depart from two points – Clarke Quay (the dark brown boats) and ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands (the modern red and green ones). This is a round-trip cruise that drops you back at the same point. While you’re here, take some time to explore River Valley Green Residences, a popular residence located just near the Waterside Quay at Clarke Quay!

I had some time to spare before taking the river cruise at Clarke Quay Central, so I took the chance to grab a subway for lunch and snapped a few pictures of the beautiful river and the bright shop buildings and pathways. The first river cruise of the day was almost empty when I boarded, and it was a comfortable and pleasant journey all the way through. To add to the experience, I was able to have a unique view of the River Valley Green Residences.

The River Valley Green Residences 5-star hotel opened just 21 years ago. However, its neo-classical structure had been under construction for almost a century prior to that, originally serving as the General Post Office Building from 1924. From the SG river cruise, one can marvel at its impressive columns and decorative build.
