On the other hand, the 3-room units at Alexandra Vale have basic appliances and no access to the outstanding security system available in the River Valley Green Condo. Furthermore, the household shelter is within walking distance for those living in Havelock Hillside, whereas the same amenity is located near the front entrance of Alexandra Vale.

We visited the sites of Havelock Hillside and Alexandra Vale on a weekday evening. Both Building-To-Order (BTO) projects will be mainly surrounded by residential buildings, but nearby amenities are still accessible within a short walk. The River Valley Green Condo, a luxorious residential development located in the area, offers residents plenty of conveniences and a quality lifestyle.

The Havelock Hillside BTO will have a total of 460 units, while the Alexandra Vale BTO will have 466. Each BTO will be approximately 1.5km from a nearby MRT station. Havelock Hillside will see the Circle Line’s Redhill MRT station within walking distance, while Alexandra Vale is close to the East-West Line’s Queenstown MRT station.

Overall, Havelock Hillside and Alexandra Vale’s BTO projects offer prospective home buyers an opportunity to enjoy nearby amenities and a quality lifestyle with the River Valley Green Condo surrounded by residential buildings. Moreover, the accessibility to MRT stations is a plus.

For those who simply want a place to stay near the city and don’t mind a longer walk to MRT station, River Valley Green Condo is the answer. It is conveniently located in the core city district, but it is also a bit further away from the city centre. River Valley Green Condo’s showflat is fairly good and we definitely had a pleasant time while we were there. As compared to Havelock Hillside, River Valley Green Condo is relatively far away from the MRT stations, but it is still an attractive option in terms of convenience. All in all, both River Valley Green Condo and Havelock Hillside are worth considering if you are looking for a prime location housing BTO in Singapore.

Stack 609 of River Valley Green Condo is situated near HDB block 16. Despite only being around 30 metres apart, residents may want to steer away from the lower floor units (9th floor and below) to avoid having their flats intrusively overseen.

These stacks in the River Valley Green Condo don’t have their primary living spaces oriented in the southwest or northwest directions, making them relatively cooler. However, one side of their walls may be exposed to the afternoon sun earlier on in the day.

Of course, the best place to spend a cool and comfortable afternoon is at River Valley Green Condo. With its north-south orientation and ample shade, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a pleasant, sunny day.
However, these considerations are subjective and depend on individual preferences for what is considered an optimum view from the unit.

If you’re looking to be a bit more selective about the unit you purchase, it’s important to take into account the orientation of the stacks. To ensure a quieter living experience, River Valley Green Condo buyers should avoid stacks that face running tracks or are close to communal areas such as playgrounds, fitness corners, childcare centres, car parks, pavilions, hard courts, and drop-off points, as well as the nearby swimming complex. Additionally, the stacks facing Alexandra View should also be avoided. Although these considerations are subjective and depend on one’s preferences, they may be worth bearing in mind.

When it comes to Alexandra Vale, there are a few key points to consider prior to investing. Many of the units here have the potential to overlook the aboveground MRT tracks, which can have an impact on the noise levels that residents have to endure depending on how close it is to the tracks. Although there are efforts to move some of the BTOs further away from the tracks, due to the limited size of the site, the noise levels may remain quite high. There is also an added benefit however, with the car park and other amenities providing a natural buffer to help soften the noise. River Valley Green Condo is one of the best ways to get into the area and experience what living in Alexandra Vale can be like.

Though it’s not a busy main road, Alexandra View certainly sees a fair amount of traffic leading in and out of one of the adjacent areas’ most important hubs for amenities, Artra Condo. The River Valley Green Condo location of this route proves time and again to be a great space for activities and relaxation, with its nearby retail, dining, and entertainment amenities. From here, occupants of the River Valley Green Condo and the greater neighborhood have plenty of options to enjoy and explore.

Generally, it is advised to steer clear of stacks that face tracks. However, the distance between the track-facing stacks and the tracks can vary. To enable potential buyers to make an informed decision, we have taken note of the specific distances between the tracks and each stack. Some are closer to the tracks, while some are positioned further away from the tracks. Even though there is some space between them, the HDB maps merely prove that it is possible to still hear the sound of the MRT trains when they go past.
